This ongoing service is one of the simplest ways to help improve your food choices and your health.

Nutrition counseling can help you enjoy a healthy pregnancy. This service is also beneficial if you’re preparing for bariatric (weight-loss) surgery.

Meet with a nutritionist or dietitian

You'll meet one-on-one with a registered dietitian nutritionist to talk about your medical history, eating habits, lifestyle, goals, and food preferences.

Depending on your needs, you might learn how to:

  • Cook tasty, healthy food that’s easy to eat
  • Make healthy choices at a grocery store or restaurant
  • Plan meals that include the nutrients you need
  • Read food labels
  • Snack wisely

Schedule an appointment at one of our MNT clinics by calling our centralized scheduling office at 1-800-659-6762.

If your doctor would like to refer you to a Ballad Health MNT clinic, please have them print our referral form and fax it to (423) 431-1886.
