The Joint Replacement Center at Johnson City Medical Center has developed a comprehensive, planned course of treatment.
We believe that you play a key role in ensuring a successful recovery. Our goal is to involve you in your treatment through each step of the program.
Johnson City Medical Center specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with back and neck problems.
Your team will include physicians, patient care partners, nurses and physical and occupational therapists specializing in total spine care.
We also provide comprehensive information on what to expect every step of the way, what you need to do during each phase of treatment, care at home, and exercises and tips to get you back to an active lifestyle.
The Joint Replacement Center has developed a comprehensive, planned course of treatment for total hip replacement.
We believe that you play a key role in ensuring a successful recovery. Total hip replacement patients recover quickly. Patients will be able to walk the day of the surgery. Generally, patients are able to return to driving in two to four weeks, dance in four to six weeks and golf in six to 12 weeks.
The hip fracture program at Johnson City Medical Center specializes in care for elderly patients who have experienced fractures.
Our program is involved in all aspects of the healing process following a fracture, from the emergency department, through pre-operative preparation, surgical procedure and post-operative rehabilitation to your discharge from the hospital.
