What is ambulatory surgery?

When hospital admission isn't necessary, you can schedule your procedure at an ambulatory surgery center (ASC).

All surgeries are outpatient procedures, which means that you'll arrive on the day of your procedure, have the surgery in a fully-equipped operating room and recover under the care of nursing staff.

What can you expect?

Typically, your physician's office should schedule a pre-admission appointment with us prior to your surgery.

Before your procedure, our staff will give you everything you'll need to prepare for your appointment, such as instructions for the day before your surgery – including medication requirements, food and drink limitations, and more.

After your procedure, we'll give you and your family or friends all the information you need to help guarantee a fast recovery.
