Overview

These screenings or tests help evaluate and measure lung function.

  • Cardiopulmonary stress test: Patient exercises on a treadmill to help measure cardiopulmonary activity and gas exchange 
  • Bronchial challenge test: Helps diagnose asthma
  • Arterial blood gasses: Measures oxygen and carbon dioxide levels in the blood
  • Pulse oximetry: Measures oxygen saturation
  • Metabolic test: Screens blood to measure a variety of chemical levels
