A variety of clinical and non-clinical jobs are available. Key roles being sought include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, laboratory technicians, physical therapists, licensed physical therapy assistants, surgical technologists, imaging professionals and more.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available roles and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come ready to interview.
“As the past few weeks have demonstrated, this region is home to so many caring, compassionate people who have a call to help and heal others in their communities,” said John Jeter, CEO of Bristol Regional Medical Center and Johnston Memorial Hospital. “We’re actively seeking individuals like these to contribute to this exceptional care being offered by our current teams and help us continue elevating our healthcare services – not just in Bristol, but across our region as one of Ballad Health’s tertiary hospitals that offers high-level, acute services.”
Ballad Health offers competitive pay and benefits along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, counseling and a flexible spending account.
Additionally, Ballad Health team members enjoy voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, disability and pet insurance plans in addition to group discounts at many local, regional and national retailers.
Ballad Health team members are also given priority registration for its Centers for Early Learning, which serve team members and families throughout the community. Children enrolled in the Ballad Health Centers for Early Learning benefit from a curriculum that is designed to promote holistic development through play-based learning, ensuring every child served by the center enters school kindergarten-ready. The center is currently accepting applications for enrollment, with more information available at www.balladhealth.org/childcare.
“We're on the lookout for talented individuals who share our commitment to excellence in patient care,” said Britney Edmiston, chief nursing officer at Bristol Regional. “Exceptional patient care begins with a skilled and compassionate team, especially our frontline caregivers, and this hiring event is a critical step towards expanding our team to meet the needs of our region."
Positions are also available at Ballad Health hospitals and care sites across the health system’s footprint, with jobs open in Kingsport, Greeneville and Johnson City, as well as Southwest Virginia.
