Treatment and care coordination for long-term COVID-19 symptoms
The Center for Post-COVID Care at Ballad Health – the first of its kind in the region – offers a unique treatment model for patients struggling with lingering health issues after experiencing COVID-19.
Through the Ballad Health Center for Post-COVID Care, patients have access to a full spectrum of services, including care management. The center also fosters research and learning opportunities and collaborates with other leading institutions to understand post-COVID care and to increase awareness among healthcare providers, patients and community members.
Do you have long-term COVID symptoms?
The center's clinical team has advanced knowledge and experience managing symptoms and ruling out underlying diseases that may become present after suffering from COVID-19.
Patients who may qualify for the Center for Post-COVID Care include those over the age of 12 who have recovered from COVID-19 and still struggle with symptoms four weeks after testing negative, such as:
- Behavioral health issues, including PTSD, insomnia, anxiety and depression
- Brain fog
- Chronic fatigue
- Fever
- Gastrointestinal symptoms
- Joint pain
- Impaired kidney function
- Memory loss
- Moodiness
- Heart attack-like symptoms
- Vision problems
- Weakness and poor endurance
COVID-19 support group
The Ballad Health Center for Post-COVID Care offers virtual support groups for those recovering from COVID-19 that are led by a licensed professional counselor and mental health service provider.
Whether you're struggling with long-term symptoms or emotional stress, this group is available to provide essential support for anyone who needs it.
These meetings are free and offered every Tuesday and Thursday. Anyone struggling with COVID recovery may attend these virtual meetings.

If you've had any of the above symptoms for longer than four weeks after testing negative and live in the Ballad Health service area, you can schedule an appointment to be screened by a nurse.
