Volunteer Opportunities
Be a volunteer at Ballad Health, and make a difference.
Through serving patient needs, assisting team members and directing visitors, volunteers of all ages have donated many hours, talents and gifts to Ballad Health.
Our volunteers play an important role in a variety of departments, including business offices, reception desks, gift shops, blood banks, critical care units and many others.
Why volunteer?
As a volunteer, you will provide comfort to patients, their family members and team members.
You’ll also form lasting bonds. In fact, our volunteers often say serving in our hospitals helps them develop a greater sense of purpose and appreciation.
Who can volunteer?
Our volunteers include people from different backgrounds and ages – everyone from high school and college students, senior citizens, retirees, members of churches, civic clubs and business groups and people who work in other fields but have a commitment to their community and want to help.
When and how often?
Volunteers are needed seven days a week during mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Most adult volunteers give between four and 12 hours per week. We ask that you commit at least four hours per week, if possible.
