Healthcare career hiring event to be held at Holston Valley Medical Center
An upcoming hiring event seeks to fill multiple full-time clinical and non-clinical healthcare jobs in Kingsport, including Holston Valley Medical Center and several Ballad Health Medical Associates clinics.
From noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, Ballad Health leaders will be on hand in the Heritage Conference Room at Holston Valley, 130 W. Ravine Road in Kingsport, to match hopeful job seekers to open roles.
A variety of clinical and non-clinical jobs are available. Key roles being sought include registered nurses, certified nursing and medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, licensed physical therapy assistants, surgical technologists, imaging professionals, classroom teachers and more.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about available roles and potentially receive a job offer on the spot. Applicants are encouraged to bring their resumes and come ready to interview.
“Hosting this event is about creating opportunities to connect with people who share our dedication to healing and compassion,” said Rebecca Beck, CEO of Holston Valley Medical Center. “We’re actively seeking talented, passionate individuals to contribute to this exceptional care being offered by our current teams and help us continue elevating our healthcare services – not just in Kingsport, but across our region as a major tertiary medical center with high-level, acute services.”
Ballad Health offers competitive pay and benefits along with opportunities for professional growth and development. The Ballad Health benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, short-term and long-term disability, a health savings account, a retirement plan, counseling and a flexible spending account.
Additionally, Ballad Health team members enjoy voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, disability and pet insurance plans in addition to group discounts at many local, regional and national retailers.
In early 2025, Ballad Health will also open its Center for Early Learning in Kingsport, which will serve team members and families throughout the community. Children enrolled in the Ballad Health Centers for Early Learning benefit from a curriculum that is designed to promote holistic development through play-based learning, ensuring every child served by the center enters school kindergarten-ready. The center is currently accepting applications for enrollment.
“Exceptional patient care begins with a skilled and compassionate team, especially our frontline caregivers,” said Adnan Brka, chief nursing officer at Holston Valley. “This hiring event is a critical step towards expanding our team to meet the needs of our region. We're on the lookout for talented individuals who share our commitment to excellence in patient care. Join us in making a difference as we strive to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community."
