Tickets for raffle benefiting Niswonger Children’s Hospital are on sale now

For the 12th consecutive year, Champion Chevrolet donates the grand prize to support Niswonger Children’s Hospital

Ballad Health Foundation’s annual Niswonger Children’s Hospital Raffle is under way, with tickets on sale through Jan. 19, 2019. It’s your chance to win a new car or cash prizes and support the region’s only children’s hospital.

The grand prize is being donated by Champion Chevrolet for the 12th year in a row. Over the last 11 years, the dealership has given away seven new cars and over $100,000 in cash in support of Niswonger Children’s Hospital.

“Our community is very fortunate to have a children’s hospital that can treat our kids locally so families don’t have to travel out of the area to cities like Charlottesville, Knoxville and Nashville, and be separated from one another for treatment. Now, they’re able to stay here,” said Andy Dietrich, Champion Chevrolet co-owner. “Helping raise money for such a great cause is one of the ways we give back.”

Raffle tickets are $50 apiece and a maximum of 4,000 tickets will be sold. One lucky winner will get to choose from a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse FWD, 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Double Cab 4x4 or 2019 Chevrolet Impala donated by Champion Chevrolet Cadillac in Johnson City. Three other winning tickets will be drawn for cash prizes: $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000.

The drawing will be held on Jan. 19, 2019, at Champion Chevrolet. The winner does NOT need to be present at the time of the drawing. This is the 12th consecutive year Champion Chevrolet has donated the grand prize for the raffle.

The last day to purchase tickets by phone is Friday, Jan. 18, at 5 p.m., although people can still buy tickets online or at Champion Chevrolet until Saturday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m.
