The Ballad Health American Heart Association Training Center (BH AHA Training Center) is located in Blountville, TN. Though based in Blountville, courses are held at various locations throughout Northeast TN and Southwest VA.
Our mission is to strengthen the AHA chain of survival and expand the outreach of the American Heart Association and Ballad Health throughout the community. To achieve this, we provide quality educational programs to promote wellness and save lives, while delivering exceptional customer service built upon experience and integrity.
The Ballad Health American Heart Association Training Center is one of the largest in the Appalachian Highlands region. And our instructors have a range of experience, with everything from pre-hospital to acute/critical care hospital backgrounds.

The Ballad Health American Heart Association Training Center offers basic and advanced classes to both the layperson and healthcare provider at all levels, either individually or in a group setting.
Outside student (non-team members) registration fees for AHA classes are expected to be paid at the time of registration. Fees paid in advance for these classes will not be refunded for those individuals who “no show” for class.
You must contact the Training Center Coordinator (423-325-8522) during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm) to notify of the need to cancel and/or reschedule. Students will receive a refund of fees paid if you need to cancel your registration (must be at least 24 hours prior to the date of class). Those who wish to reschedule will be placed in the first available slot in leu of a refund of fees. However, no refund of fees will occur if rescheduling has not occurred within 7 days of the original class date.
