The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR) Course is designed to train participants to save lives of victims in cardiac arrest through high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) both in-and out-of-hospital settings.

This course is intended for all persons who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in- and out-of hospital settings.
Full Course is 4 1/2 hours and requires the Basic Life Support Provider Manual. BLS Renewal Class is 3 hours and requires a current BLS card and the Basic Life Support Provider Manual. The BLS renewal course is for experienced BLS providers that are able to independently demonstrate the proper knowledge and skills required by the American Heart Association. This is a fast paced class and will require the participants to read the BLS Manual prior to class.
Exam: Skills covering BLS performance, including adult, child, infant, and use of an AED. Written score of 84% on multiple choice test.
