Ballad Health has launched the newest nurse staffing agency in the region.

We are looking for experienced registered nurses (RNs) to work rotating assignments at various facilities, organizations and/or units throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

These rotating travel nursing roles are being offered as part of Ballad Health's newly created internal nursing agency – a regional alternative to outside agencies in the Appalachian Highlands.

Registered travel nurse job details

All available travel RN positions are 0.9 or 1.05 FTE. Candidates must sign a six-month work commitment upon hire.

These full-time positions provide extensive benefits, including:

  • Day-shift competitive pay, non-benefitted
  • Night-shift competitive pay, non-benefitted
  • NO standby requirements
  • NO restrictions on where you live
  • Schedules provided four weeks in advance
  • 403(b) program with employer matching
  • 12-hour shifts

Nurses who choose to join our internal agency will fill RN staffing needs across our region and work in rotating assignments in various facilities or units.

Medical surgical and progressive care unit RN assignments

Emergency Department RN assignments

Intensive care unit RN assignments

Family Birth Center RN assignments

Phlebotomist opportunities

Phlebotomist roles can take place in any of the following Ballad Health facilities:

Respiratory therapy

Traveling respiratory therapists can be assigned to any Ballad Health facility.

Requirements

You must have a minimum of two years’ clinical experience and a valid Tennessee or Virginia RN license.

A 90-day break in service is required for previous Ballad Health employees.
