We want to offer May 2024 graduates a special sign on bonus for committing to work with us after graduation. New graduate RNs and LPNs are eligible for sign-on bonuses for a two-year commitment to work on night shift in an adult or pediatric medical-surgical patient care unit following completion of their clinical orientation.
The sign-on bonus is paid in three installments over the course of the two-year commitment and will be distributed to the team member on their regular pay check.
Current unlicensed team members at Ballad Health being promoted to a new graduate nurse position are eligible to participate as described above.
We understand that choosing where to gain your first full-time nursing experience is an important decision for you. We hope that you'll consider gaining your first full-time experience in our med-surg units.
Beginning your nursing career in the medical-surgical environment supports your transition from nursing student to professional nurse by giving you the experience you need. You will enhance your existing clinical abilities, time management and professional development while gaining confidence in the skills you learned in your classes and clinicals.
We also support our nurses with their long-term career goals and professional development. If your long-term goal is to work in a specialty nursing area, you may participate in Ballad Health-sponsored specialty education while completing your commitment in the medical-surgical role. You can do this by attending courses in addition to your scheduled work in preparation for future opportunities at Ballad Health.
Ballad Health also offers several programs and resources for our team members, including support for continued education, certification opportunities and organizational development.
